If Coppell goes I'd like Knight to make a statement on behalf of all the clubs who are getting f***ed over by the likes of Madjeski at the moment, pointing out that Coppell was under contract and shaming Madjeski and his hypocritical ways. This would reflect well on Kight and the club, and make a few people stop and think.

As an earlier thread shows, we habitually appoint managers from within or who are not managing another club, and Knight will therefore speak with authority.

It's about time Knight got some of his frustration out of his system.

Harry Rednapp(sp?) has been on SSN saying that the managerial merry-go-round has to stop. Used the West Ham-Reddung-Albion triangle as an example. He said that clubs should stop firing managers after 7 games into a season and that if there is a transfer window for players then clubs should be made to stand by the managerial appointment decisions.

Doesn't help us though does it?
