They don't come to see Leeds as such, just to see their team beat the previously (slightly) mighty Leeds.

Stop peddling that rehashed tosh. There will be plenty of empty seats at Elland Road that do not cost £36 to sit/stand at, just as there have been this season.

Its more fun having a hardcore support anyway rather than the burger and coke crew.

Im not to bothered if our home supports are 10,000 our away fanbase is one of the best in the country.

You will be when you go out of business. What a ridiculously stupid thing to say.

I think Leeds are very close to going over the edge this time. They are almost certainties to go into administration and with that the need to cut costs, sell assetts and hopefully finder a buyer.

Now finding a buyer last time was hard enough, thats how they ended up with the Devil (Bates). Assetts, what are they exactly? They dont own the ground nor training ground (I see that every day near Wetherby, it will really help with the housing shortage when its bulldozed down and some Wimpey homes are built on it).

The only assetts that they have are the players. So its goodbye Healey, Cresswell, Thompson, Blake, Flo, Lewis etc and hello to untried youth players. Not a great recipe for success in league 1. Coupled with the fact that yes, teams will want to find that extra gear cos its Leeds, I think Leeds will find it very hard going. Just look at Bradford/Wolves to see how far you can go.

For someone who lives just outside Leeds, but works there day in and day out their pridicament couldn't have happened to a better club and fans

It's a good job they changed the name of the competition to League One a couple of years ago.

That way, massive, giant clubs like Leeds don't have to face the harsh reality that they are now a Third Division team.

And when the season starts and we're all on zero points, they will be listed below Cheltenham Town and Hartlepool United in the Football League rankings. But hey guys, at least you'll be a place above Leyton Orient!

The only way out of Leeds financial mess is surely for Bates to build a hotel? Or sell off the Bremner statue and replace it with former Chelsea and Leeds legend Jody Morris?

all together now...

Wise, Wise, whatever have you done?
You've taken Leeds to Division One,
You won't win a cup,
You won't win a shield,
your biggest game will be Huddersfield...
