pessimistic

a 300 lead is enough for Mushy to bowl at, if we were leading by 400 at the start of day 4 they would probably drop anchor and try to hang out for a draw.

300 they might set off after the win and lose a few wickets to Akram and Dirty. Mushy mops up the tail game over

or am I being optimistic?

This bears a remarkable similarity to the Middlesex game at Lord's last season. Two lowish scores in the first innings with a Sussex first innings lead, a Sussex collapse in the second innings, but they still set Middlesex a target of well over 300...which they manage to get with a couple of wickets in hand.

Let's hope it's not a repeat of that one.

GO MUSHY - a whirlwind 50 run stand with MD, pick up a couple of wickets before the close and it's WIN WIN WIN
