We are not expected to prevail today, so the pressure is on them. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

However, if we don't win, the squad will have to forget the disappointment and pick themselves up for the play offs. To those of you at the ground, if things don't go our way, at the end of the game, it'll be hard, but we'll need a belting rendition of 'We're the famous Brighton & Hove Albion and we're going to Wembley.'

Sadly, Downing doesn't start. Weirdly, neither does Rhodes.

Rhodes must be carrying an injury... He is their form striker 4 in 4.

Pleased with that line up. Knocky can deliver decent set pieces, Murphy is a better all round footballer than Jiri at the moment.

Come on Brighton.

Does CH never learn by his mistakes we are in this position because he persevered with Calderon and has now put him on the bench when we have sufficient defensive cover if needed and a draw is not an option but no attacking options if we need a goal to win. This beggars belief and we must stick by him as he has generally done well but a couple of mistakes have cost us dearly

Despite 6.30 a.m. kick off here in Mexico City, have been up for a couple of hours, just waiting for this nervous but confident - looking to avoid having to pay for a flight over to see the Wembly playoff - lets do it today!!!

Didn't expect surprises in the lineups - but no Rhodes or Skalak?

I guess Boro need to keep Rhodes fresh for the playoffs!

Rhodes and Downing on the bench....

Despite claiming he's going for the win, that looks like a "0-0 will do us fine" team that Karanka has put out.

And Friend is back.

"The best left back in the league", passed fit this morning and attack-minded against Knocky. Could be interesting.

Four up top from the start for Boro? Jesus..

Really? That's worrying. We really can't afford to concede the first goal. Trying to get two against a team that's only conceded seven at home all season would be a touch tricky. Maybe they'll leave some space at the back for us to exploit. Please.

Stuani right wing. Ramirez number 10. Adomah on the left. Nugent up top.
