Microsoft Windows advice please.

I've been on windows 10 4 weeks now @ work and work and like it a lot more than 8.1 which I use at home > think the best of 8.1 + best of 7

Just one final question.

When you upgrade to 10 do you lose all your documents etc. in 8.1 or should I save docs elsewhere then download again into 10?

You should always backup your Docs and photos etc before upgrading anyway but I recently upgraded three PCs without any issues.
On the plus side I think it is the first time we have been able to load a new OS and not have to reinstall all our programs, everything worked.
One thing I have found is that MS Edge (the new IE) keeps hanging and only seems to work again after a reboot. I got round that by making Chrome my default browser... Simples.
I would say go for it while it's free.

Yeah it should have been called 15.1 really (7+8.1=)

I'm happy with Windows 7. Is there any good reason to change to 10?
