Brighton attitude pleases Adams

Adams is back at Brighton after leaving for Leicester in 2001
Brighton manager Micky Adams says he has been pleased with his squad's work ethic during pre-season.

The Seagulls completed their friendlies with a 3-0 win at troubled Luton.

Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I've not had one ounce of trouble from anybody - they are an honest group of footballers working hard.

"They can have as big as a season as they want. I'm the front man but they have to go out, perform and believe in what they are doing."

Adams' first league game since his return to the club is at Crewe on 9 August.



I guess it's good he's happy with what he's seen thus far. Can't wait for it all to start now. Roll on Satdi

I've been sceptical over Micky's return but the preparation, pre-season results & reports have certainly been encouraging. We've had some decent run-outs against varied league opposition and have performed well enough.
