The Whing business is entirely understandable - he needs to save his job and it is worth a shout.
Couldn't agree more BoF, some people seem to think that just because he's managed us he should give us players willy nilly and probably cash too and build Falmer and play left back v West Ham Etc...

It does make me laugh.

Was a good manager but doesn't really deserve the LEG-END status he has been given.

Adams is a great manager. Don't forget he also came and marched with us at one of the Labour Party conferences. He cares about us and I like him lots.

i liked him, what was wrong with him?

He was a f***ing arrogant prick who didn't give two hoots about this football club unless it made him look bad. Even then it was always someone elses fault.

Did a good (not amazing though) job here, not denying that. Complete prick though.

So in answer to the poll, No, don't like him now, didn't like him when he was here.

All that said I agree completely about the Whing thing, his player he can do and/or say what ever he likes about the chap.

If he didn't care about the club, why did he twice come back here on his days off from later jobs, to join Falmer marches? Was it going to make him look bad if he didn't? I don't think so.

And also, if taking a club that is on its arse to a position where it could march to two consecutive titles, is 'good', what pray tell would constitute amazing?

and build the side that Peter Taylor took up. Micky Adams is always welcome in the Buzzer household.
