We need to get rid of Adams now, he's clearly not giving the players the cuddles they so richly deserve:jester:

I know I will see the last year or so as a complete waste of time and a waste of a fairly good squad's ability if we just about manage to stay up.

How long before we hear .....

"I didn't realise I had to keep us up in my first season."

Maybe there's too many conspiracy theories around but I'm starting to think that maybe this is the plan he agreed with Knight....
Take us down and then 'do a Leicester' in league 2 next season. Didn't we all agree that it would be great to get to Falmer on the back of a promotion?

Too far fetched? I think so but, if this was the plan, it's going well at the moment - and the possibility of a Wembley final to keep us interested until April too.

Losing points when taking the lead, and letting in last gasp goals to snatch draws and losses from point winning situations equals a team of players no where near as good or professional as they and we think they are.Nowhere near as good as we want them to be.

I've never much subscribed to the "playing for the shirt" theory. These blokes are paid workers, and they'll play for whoever will pay them.

But they should have the stamina to last 90 playing minutes (yes, include the time added, because the ref has assessed that as the time required to make up the 90).Their training should see to that. The fact that these people are playing for OUR club is,to them, largely immaterial. They could be playing for another club next season, another shirt.Only the supporters "bleed" blue and white,as the often pained outpourings on the board prove.

We may all have different opinions as to who should/should not be manager ( for me,I wish McGhee had not been hounded out) .........but we're all stuck with what we have, and at root what we all have is the desire to see our club do well.

When the majority of the current employees of our club have gone, few will be remembered.Less will look back. That's footballing life for you.

Basically, our current team is made up of average to mediocre players who appear to have lost sight of one basic thought; they are getting paid to play football, something most of us can only dream about.

Well I'm glad he's committed to us.

Such a shame he wasn't quite so committed when he quit us in 2001 for a better paid job.

Who could blame him? Most of us would take a better paid job wouldn't we?? :nono:

So many keep quoting our 7th place at the end of last season. In January we were 17th and this board was full of criticism of Wilkins and relegation predictions. It wasn't good enough, but in the end it didn't matter did it?

If you look at the league tables for last January the lowest we dropped to was 14th with 3 games in hand on most of the teams above us.

The league table makes for grim reading. But if we are stuck with Micky, then we should at least give him till the end of the season. If he takes us down (which I dont think he will) then he will have to hold his hands up and say " I was wrong".

Alas!, enough of this relegation talk, we are going to Wembley after we beat luton, and Micky will turn the season round on its head and we will finish 12th..........

If anyone was watching that then you can clearly see that Murray was within about two yards of Delph at the start of the chase. He then slowed up and let Delph get away even though he might have been able to catch him with a short burst of pace considering players running with a ball are usually slower than those without.

Those were his words last night on the Big League Weekend programme after an interview with Simon Grayson (Leeds manager) for the analysis of the game on Saturday.

Well, for one Micky, I guess it will give us a chance to see who can help us get us out of the situation we're in at the minute and bring in a few people before the 2nd February.

And also, if you decide to go Micky, then I'm sure that in the majority of people's eyes, you will be seen as the man who got us out of Division Three and winning the title, and setting the foundations for the following Championship winning season as well. I won't forget what he did for the club back then, but if you stay and take us down, then I believe the majority of supporters will forget what you did previously, and you will become a hate-figure within the club.

I would never hate Micky Adams - cos I still remember the good times

He didn't slow up, Delph quickened up and Murray couldn't. This is because Murray was not fit.
