years ago i went for a walk around inside coventry ex home highfield road. my brother is a coventry fan and it was his birthday present. micky adams must have been club captain at the time as he was the guy that showed us around. we met up with all the cov players before watching the game against watford which i think finished 1.1 with watford keeper steve sherwood scoring.
obviously micky was a lot younger but still seemed like a top guy. then after winning promotion with the albion he is definately a true legend to me if not ernest.
