Given he was very much a Wilkins signing a dont think Adams will go for him. There is talk of us signing this Livermore fella who will be Left Back I guess.

Obviously signed now, but in his interview he mentions that Mickey Adams told him he will be playing Central midfield (tough tackler), but may occasionaly play at left back, I guess for any injuries.

So that suggests that a left back is still on the cards.

Keep The Faith!

would be brilliant. We just need him and creative midfielder and I reckon we would be top 6 with a shout of top 2 if we can gel + start well

Abort, retry, fail
He was VERY keen to sign for us permanatly

I read in the programme that he was keen, but it is always advisable to take that with a pinch of salt. He is not going to say otherwise about a prospective employer. It will come down to money, IF we are still tracking him.

I would love to sign him up as he would be one of the last pieces of the jigsaw, but Adams may have other ideas or he may well be out of our price range :(

I know he's a left back but I'm sure with the right coaching Lynch would do a better job at left back than a Ryman's league player...

Please get Richards!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if we are even trying to get him back and whether we have approached him or Ipswich??

I really hope Richards does return but if they are asking for the £300,000 that someone mentioned on here then that is a lot of money (probably too much). I am sure we could get a good first choice left back for less.

Also, people who say Lynch is not a left back are forgetting his first half season in the team when he had what I think was his most consistent period in the team and it was at left back. I would still like a new left back but if Lynch played there permanently rather than just being thrown in for the odd game he might be a very good left back again.

Don't think Mickey has targetted him.Perhaps now White can make a name for himself by convincing Adams

If he could learn to hoof the ball into the stands when needed rather than try and play himself out of trouble or stop diving in rather than closing down I'd have more faith in him as a LB. He certainly has the ability but is a little too flash for me to be comfortable with him as LB from what I've seen there.

I agree and I am not sure he is the answer but there is no sign of signing a left back so he may be the only option. Although, I think he wants to play centre half

Get him in Micky, im sure Mr Knight has made him well aware of th job he did for us.

My guess is Richards is considering options before commiting himself..

Richards will almost certainly be at another club by the end of the season - Dean White has been in regular contact with him over the summer - i think he will decide in the next week or so what he is doing...
