This player has been a fabulous player for the club under several managers. None of them ever complained about his attitude. He was subbed for his kicking at half time on his debut and bounced back. The guy is a legend.

So why the f*** is McGhee not only not playing him but putting a kid on the bench instead.

I've been a big McGhee fan up until now, but what the f*** is that all about.

He needs to admit he is wrong and get Kuipers back in the team quick or he needs to go.

That's one of the things that made me lose faith in McGhee, along with all the losing, lack of signings......

Henderson is pretty good though.

If he has shown the wrong attitude then he shouldn't deserve a place in the team. How would you feel if someone kicked up a fuss if you were replaced by them. These guys are professionals. He should get his head down and work hard. It is not rocket science. Win back your place for christ sake.

Same as players like Charlie and Kerry. Knuckle down and show the right attitude.

Lack of signings. That was his fault was it? Were you invovled in all the scouting missions and transfer meetings?

No but he reportedly bid 180k for Brighton and spent 20k on Hendo so he had a 200k budget. Im sure he could have signed a striker with the remaining180k. Surely there was somebody willing to sign for us.

No one can doubt Kuipers contribution, but does anyone know exactly what has gone on.

McGhee is not perfect but why is it his fault when their is a dispute with a player ?

There isn't a club in this country where the senior players are not allowed to voice their opinions. That is very different from what Leon did. He was a complete pain in the arse and was not good for the team, and actually McGhee took too long to sort him out.

With Kuipers you have an experienced player asking why he was dropped. No reason to replace him with a kid and weaken the team and the squad to boot.

And why spend £30k on Henderson. Couldn't we have had a half decent player on loan for a month for that??

I understand the constraints but just don't understand this kuipers thing at all. However much of a fan of McGhee you are, and I was a big one, the Kuipers saga and the lack of signings are astonishing and indefensible.

Who could we have purchesed for £180k plus wages? Anyone better that the players we already have? I am sure we couldn't, and I am sure they would have tried their hardest.

Kuipers never had a single problem with any of the other managers. McGhee seems to have pissed off player after player. I understand with Knight, he was a serious handful, but Kuipers is a damn good professional and doesn't deserve this.

£20k if you are sure we are not staying up. He is a future investment. Kuipers, perhaps has reached/past the twilight of his career and there will always be the question mark of how long he can last after his series of serious injuries. I suspect the board and McGhee are looking at the bigger picture as far as Hendo is concerned.

I can understand that arguement if you've got money to spare, but it seems there isn't much swilling around. So why waste £20k.
We are crying out for a striker, the final piece of the jigsaw, and yet we get no one, and instead buy a keeper, and drop Kuipers right of the side. It makes no sense at all.

Well said, I was always supportive of McGhee up until this point. It would be very sad if a club legend like Kuipers is forced to leave under such ridiculous and negative circumstances.

Three players out of a squad.

Unless the facts are known about what went on it's hard to say who is in the wrong. I think Kuipers was picked and dropped in quick succession which was harsh but that is the manager's decision. Mayo was on SCR on Saturday saying it is annoying not to be included but to support the other players.

Oooooo, tough choice, a player who will leave after a month and will barely make an impact or an Irish U21 international goalkeeper who has shown great ability whilst on loan. Let me see.....

You make it sound like you know exactly what happened, and that McGhee is now trying to hound Kuipers out of the club. Unless you have been present at all recent conversations between them then I suggest you actually know about as much about it as most on here, f*** all.

Kuipers, for all his past efforts for us, has a pretty bad recent injury record. He spat the dummy and had a massive row with MM when he found out he wouldn't be number 1. He should act like the top pro he's supposed to be and knuckle down to win his place back. If he can't convince MM he's worth a place in the squad then he wont play. Simple.

Henderson is a good young keeper, and more than capable of playing at this level. I think it was a good signing, especially considering that we were after him a long time, when Michel was still injured.

Thats a fair point, well made. But it is so frustrating when we are battling so hard to have a truly sound player treated the way Kuipers has been, and I really can't understand how we can go from offering a three figure sum for a forward to not getting anyone at all.

Okay again a fair point. But are you saying it makes sense to completely leave him out? It just doesn't seem logical.
