I genuinely struggle to sum up how I feel about that man's incalculable and ongoing immense contribution to our club. I can't imagine I'm the only one who sometimes feels we rather take him for granted. So let's appreciate him to the level he deserves.

Because he is, quite simply and notwithstanding some very fine competition, the best keeper that this club of ours has ever had.

And as for the dickheads who posted on here in Magoos reign that Horrenderson was a better keeper should be ashamed of themselves, not fit to lick Michels boots!

Just completely utterly bloody fantastic - AGAIN

I have tried, but I genuinely can't think of a consistently better keeper, utter hero, and obvious Albion fan who I have ever seen playing between the posts for the Albion since I first went down the Shoreham Road forty years ago.

Presumably Mr. Mendoza's September player of the month is in the bag - for the second month running.

The sight of him being led off the pitch at the end in a crowd of jubilant fans, from which he then extracated himself in front of the North stand to bounce around in the air like a loon, arms flailing about in wild, celebration will NEVER be forgotten by those of us privileged to have seen it and yet another of this true living legend's quite, quite extraordinary performances for this club. Magical.

 what he said

I always felt that his contribution to the back to back Championships was underrated, yes we had the mazy skills and goalscoring of BZ, but the man between the sticks was immense...and still is...Michel, jij bent voor mij het nummer een.

Was'nt there a great dutch flag with FDM on the front, remember it at a reserve game the other year on one of his many fights to take back the no 1 jersey.

Assuming he gets a testimonial next year who should it be against, is he an Ajax fan!
