Well MUG if you'd just piped down you'd probably have got away with it but now you've blown your chance of a having a couple of beers!

If you'd not said it there's no way they'd be checking for ID that night unless you looked 12! And anyway, if you're accompanied by adults (of which you'll be with about a hundred!) i'm pretty sure you can have a couple of beers with dinner anyway can't you?

:lolol: The thing is, i do look about 12.

And secondly, on my own yes, i would have, and in a group of friends (such as at pablo's recently) yes, we had a bottle of house red wine with our pizza's and pasta's.

But this is different and rather than try it on in a public function designed to be about a legendery goalkeeper, i'm going to stick by the rules and not make it about a kiddo and his kiddo mate trying to get a bit of booze down his throat

My point was more about whether we'd qualify for the junior price really. I appreciate your concern in making me as likely to get booze as i can though

Are those statements related?

Anyhoo, England CAN'T go out of the World Cup the day before - there aren't any matches on the Saturday or Sunday.

Not related, already booked up to do some more charidee work on that day, mainly trying to get a raft that we are building around the West Pier, then celebrating surviving

apologies, I had it down that the Quarter Finals were on 2nd and 3rd of July (Friday and Saturday)

I am gutted I can't attend and pay homage but I will be in the great man's home country where i will think of something suitable (and Dutch) to do to mark the occasion.

TLO - Are there still spaces? I think I am down in Brighton the day before for a charity cricket match and could delay my departure.

Thank goodness it is Topolino Duo. I am salivating at the thought of their pizzas already.
