I've met people who believe that a woman once gave birth whilst still virgin. I didn't feel the need to approach them and start getting rude and chucking factual science at them. To give the whole story more context. I was sat on my own, eating my dinner, minding my own business, when the good Doctor moved tables & joined me to start telling me how he thinks the BBC reporting of Trump makes him look bad. I informed him that the Donald does a good enough job of making himself look bad every time he tweets or even opens his mouth.

I actually informed our conspiracy peddling quack that I wasn't really up for a political debate, but on he went, taking a sharp left turn to Fantasy Island.
So, it was a completely unwelcome intrusion, yet Megatroll reckons I should apologise? Alright then!

I don't think it's just Americans. There are people who post on here who think the six moon landings were all faked, and that no planes hit the World Trade Center on 9/11. I genuinely believe that people are getting more and more stupid, the rise of the Flat Earth Society is proof of that. It started off funny, but actually wound me up until I couldn't take any more. The others at the table were lapping it up, (a Serb & a Croat).
I informed the Doctor that he was mad as a fish & I'd never heard such bullshit. He was shocked; I don't think he'd had this conversation with a Brit before. My sarcasm was going "Woosh" every time!
