Meopham, Kent.
Saw him live at Hammersmith Apollo last Sunday, and he was absolutely brilliant. I was literally hurting from laughter a number of times.

Used to see Michael McIntyre regularly when he was an unknown at the Komedia comedy club. Suddenly he's on the Royal Variety Performance and making it big.

But I can say I was there first.

Obviously we all have different senses of humour but I enjoy his observational humour.

I like him a lot. I despise Peter Kay and Lee Evans but his mainstream and everyday comedy really works. I think a lot of the dislike for him stems for his unashamed middle-classness

As said about, he makes jokes on observations, which are funny, rather than go down the Boyle route of 'rape, blacks, scotland, rape'.

You forgot "paedophile".

I like McIntyre. His DVD's got a good write-up on the Amazon reviews, unlike Frankie Boyle's, which has been panned.

I like McIntyre's style of comedy a lot, very funny, sure it's based on observations but it works.
I think the comparisons with Frankie Boyle and McIntyre are in a way a little bit off, as both comedians have different styles of delivery and as Frankie says himself he is a topical comedian.
Sure McIntyre might not set the world alight and have the audience in stitches on shows like Mock the Week, but with say Mock the Week, it suits Frankie's style of comedy much better than Micheal's.
On the stand up scene though i do prefer Micheal McIntyre to Frankie Boyle, and with say 30 minute television shows i prefer Frankie than Micheal.
