Seems pretty poor show but then again, without knowing both sides of the story, it isn't easy to say one way or another.

Plenty of people said we sacked Poyet by email when he was live on the BBC, when in reality, it was only confirmation of what he already knew was coming.

Watched his press conference about it yesterday - all seemed a bit strange really.

My guess is that the owners were manipulating a situation to get Laudrup out without firing him.

And then it was later revealed/claimed he wasn't answering his phone and all other attempts to contact him failed. (If I remember rightly it turned out he had turned his phone off while attending a training course or something that his bosses weren't aware of).
