Apparently he is a serious candidate for the England U21 job

He seemed quite level headed in an interview whilst at Blackburn. I quite like the fellow and wouldn't be surprised if he does OK. Bit of a poor CV to date mind.

Just to clarify, it appears Michael Appleton was under strong consideration back in 2009, when Poyet was first appointed to mange the Albion.
