Back from an enjoyable gig wise but bloody frustrating football wise weekend in Wakefield and Stevenage. I think tonight will be a first for me: first live televised Albion game I haven't been at. Drove past the ground during the time the match should have been played. Fans shat on as usual....Murdoch, I hate your bloody guts.

Stanley Arms here I come. 3 points for the Seagulls and for once some real ale during the game.....but that is a very small consolation.
And tomorrow......hopefully...the biggest piss up of all time.......!

Dave, there's no such song as 'One on One' - you must mean 'World in Motion'...
could give that a spin. Marc: 'Fall Back Down' or 'Roots Radicals', surely?
'Maxwell Murder' far too hardcore for the 'Dean! Incidentally, have you heard the second Transplants album? There's everything on there from (rather dumb) gangsta to something that sounds like the Chi-Lites.....Tim Armstrong has been working with Pink, so i guess anything is possible! And I met Lars at Morecambe punk fest recently. Good bloke.

Anyone else like the Dead 60s? I think they're ace.
Requests for Saturday gratefully received. I am going to play 'Smiling Through The Tears' already recorded for next years finals and the best England footie song I have ever heard. It's by a Brighton band, all Seagulls fans, they have done 2 benefit gigs for the club. I think some people will like it a lot.

Fall back down if you could, Tis an awesome track.

That second Transplants album is good but dont think its quite as good as the first one. I think the best song on the new abum has to be Gansters and Thugs.

All far too lightwight and poofy. No wonder everyone take the piss about us lot being gay.

Get some Meteors on there, that sorts the men from the boys. How about "If you don't want to f*** me baby f*** off"? - wonderful cover of the Wayne County song.

Just ignore these ignoramouses

World in Motion will be fine thankyou.

( If you could slip a little " Dreamer" in by Supertramp for Mr samrah and moi, that would be equally wonderful.)

Or dedicated to the NIMBY's...."Take the Long way home" also by those super tramps

What about some Sham 69, Angelic Upstarts, or Combat 84 - we could kick off, storm the er, race-track and rip up some of the seats in the stands that we haven't paid for yet, then we could really make a name for ourselves as a hard core hoolie supported team.

And that word would be...

C..U..N..T..S!

Have we got a firm? Firm dick maybe....

What a fantastic idea!

Fanfare For The Common Man

or

In The Cage

but Supertramp will do......

What I'd really like to hear is a bit of showcasing for local bands. Lots of good stuff around town.

oohh both good songs..of course I dont get to the 'Dean as I play saturdays so got NO chance of hearing it, but my Punk mate (ST holder) would LOVE some Roots for sure! Did'nt like the transplants first album so not holding my breath for this one, but anything that Tim writes is worth listening too at least once ;)
