As per the Athletic’s article on the new work permit rules. Haven’t seen this anywhere else but apologies if fixtures.

Mitoma is thought to have been tracked by Brighton during the summer and winter transfer windows, and you can imagine him popping up at a European feeder club at some point in the future if he replicates his 2020 form in the J League in 2021.

Just won the J-League title with an average of 1.4 goals or assists every 90 mins. Wikipedia here.

Never seen him but would be a fun signing at least on paper, especially if Potter wants to play with wingers like previously in his coaching career. Japan is producing some decent players currently, got Minamino in Pool/Saints and Kubo is one of the most exciting players in La Liga.

We need some Asian exposure for the fan base. Expect we’ll be in for a YANK as well. I hear Pulisic is surplus to requirements for Chelsea

Looks like he is an intelligent and tidy player from the clips, whether he has enough pace and physicality for the Premier League is a different matter though.

Looked at his name and somehow leapt to thinking this was a thread about Atomic Kitten!
