I thought he looked magic. Get him in the team.

I'm not convinced he's a wing back, i'd have him instead of Lallana in a wide left attacking position. Imagine the linking up he could do with Trossard on that side

What about Colwill with Mitoma further forward,he seems the the sort of player you give a free reign to ?

Lallana doesn’t play wide left ?

They don't play in the same position, but Lallana was very advanced today. I think we should retain Lallana, just less far forward. I'm advocating something like this

----------------Sanchez
-------Veltman Dunk Webster
March Caicedo Lallana Trossard
---------Gross --------Mitoma
----------------Welbeck

Gross and March linking in plenty, Mitoma and Trossard linking in plenty.

Prefer to have the holding CDM with a back 3 personally…….

Saw one or two Mitoma shirts in the North. It's probably a far bigger deal in Japan than we currently realise.

Interesting that you say that, because I went into the club shop (Churchill Square) Thursday and when I asked which named shirts were the most popular, I was told "We've sold lots of Mitoma ones!!"

I didn't do an exact head count but reckon I saw about 243 Japanese people today.

The couple of lads in my row seemed to making a vlog.

There was also at least one shout out for someone visiting from Japan in Richie’s half-time parish notices I noticed

I was working east lower before the game and there were loads of Japanese fans in Mitoma shirts today.

Leaving out Mac Allister is questionable in my books, especially after such a combative display yesterday.

Asking a lot of Caceido there, I know he’s good but give the lad a break.
Also personally I would have Lamptey over March every day of the week.
