I think most of the population of the UK is laughing - or crying. The whole Brexit thing is an unbelievable shambles. A campaign full of lies and deceit, followed by implosion of the two main political parties, the potential break up of the United Kingdom, and an economic recession. All this for what? A relationship with the EU which will be marginally different (slightly worse) than the one we have now. Would 52% of the population have voted "Leave" if they'd realised this would happen? Of course not. Yet we're probably going to stagger on, inflecting more self harm, in the name of "democracy". And, as I have maintained all along, it will be the poor and disadvantaged who really suffer. What a joke we are. No wonder the world thinks we're a laughing stock.

Are you a comedian:laugh:

Perhaps instead you prefer to holiday briefly in Bastogne then ? Only briefly, not long enough to get any Duty Free's no doubt.

A bit over the top don't you think "most"........considering 52% over 17million voted Out...then "most" is a tad exaggerated to say the least.

A lot of the Outers will be completely bemused - and a little frightened, I think. Their darlings (Gove and Boris) dissed the "experts", but oddly enough those experts' views now seem rather prescient.

I wonder what is going to happen in 3-4 years time,2 years after we may have haggled out our exit. What will happen when those people in Sunderland and Walsall and Sheffield find that Brexit hasn't given them the magical benefit of well paid jobs and that inflation is up and austerity is biting yet again ?

What happens when there is limited immigration and yet still there are no new well paid jobs ? Who and what can they blame then ?. We are slightly luckier down south but I still don't see any benefits in leaving, the NHS " Funding " has gone already, today the governor of the Bank of England predicts a slowdown of the economy and a reduction in interest rates in order to stimulate some kind of growth.

We are not going to be going through a boom any time for the foreseeable future and when the penny drops to those disaffected Leavers, who do they turn on next ?

No, the experts have not been proved prescient or anything else. It will take years for the impact of our exit to be measured.

They were never my 'darlings', far from it. I voted for the concept and not the personalities.
That is a good point. I always wanted to leave whoever was leading a campaign or the country. Heck, I would have even voted leave if Jeremy Corbyn would have been honest.

I never wanted Borris for PM that's for sure...I full agree with the last bit and that is saying something as I have never voted Labour.
