It cannot be argued that it is undemocratic for Farage to be an MEP, which is what the poster appeared to be saying.

I wasn't saying that, but I can see why you would think it. I was merely pointing out that Farage has, in 7 separate attempts in constituencies he has no connection with, including Bexhill & Battle where I am right now, never been elected to Westminster.

tell you what daz, here are a couple for you.

You really do not get anywhere in life throwing insults around in the full view of your peers, you only look angry and weak. It shows that you have never really got over the bullying you experienced in the playground all those years ago, when the popular kids laughed at your inadequacies and your lack of social skills. It also shows how bitter and twisted you are that you have not achieved more in life, that others around you have the roles that you covet, and how much you wished you were like them.

So in reality nigel farage looks a bit silly to say the very least right now, and you would like to be him wouldn't you daz? But you just weren't good enough.
you really don't know me is the truth

I doubt it very much but we will wait and see.

The FTSE 100 is now ABOVE the level it was at on Thursday when the market closed.
The FTSE 250 is still down 1.5% on Thursday's close.
The constant drip drip of the consequences of Brexit are going to mount up on the economy and British society. Just a few examples of what is happening already..

Our credit rating going down.

Several big companies thinking of relocation to the Eurozone leading to large job cuts.

Reduction in the value of the Pound leading to higher prices and inflation.( Don't say our products are more attractive to exporters with a lower Pound, we are a service based economy)

Companies holding back on investment in infrastructure.

Companies holding back on recruitment.

Wage stagnation.

This before we have to cut a deal, things will get worse the closer we get to actual Brexit. I, like many can't see " sunny days " for the foreseeable future....

It's the fact that he's made an utter prick of us all that is so frustrating

They are more than used to him he has been making anti EU speeches at the EU parliament for years and in most cases he is heavily jeered (as in this example)

Like Westminster the whole thing is pantomime a lot of the time and this latest outburst (whilst inappropriate) is not going to influence negotiations anymore than the childish chanting and behaviour of the other attendees when Farage was introduced

Actually, even that isn't really true is it?

Insofar as nobody in England votes for a specific MEP. You only vote for parties, and the PR system allocates seats to individuals, as per the order the party listed their candidates. Not one person specifically voted for Nigel Farage.

It is, in a great many respects. It has a fundamental problem though, with the lack of accountability of individuals.

Well spotted, another problem with the EU parliament that I hadn't even noticed!

Unaccountable on SO many levels.

Look, let's be honest as the truth comes to the surface it's more and more obvious that those that voted leave are cvnts.
