Did I know you? Sure I did this, or something similar! By 'walkie talkie noise' I'm assuming you mean a sort of 'crrkk' type thing in your throat imitating static?

In early mobile phone days, when they were great bricks and only used by people like stock exchange folk - whenever we saw one we'd start shouting 'Sell Sell' or something else inane.

But not really immature for us - we were immature at the time!

Yeah that's the walkie noise! na, you don't know me, must have just not been the only one.
Tbh whilst it's probably a bit immature looking back, it was pretty funny at the time.

What about elder vs eldest?
Joe is the elder of my two sons but Jo is the eldest of my 3 daughters.

Also, x got less votes than y.
Wrong (apparently) it's x got fewer votes than y.

Just propper English, init.
