Viking look?

There's a vast number of people into historical re enactment and natural long hair on blokes is essential to the presentation of the period/ era/ personality projected. If you need a reason for freedom of choice then that's a valid one. Then there's rock band members. The 70's look is still popular there I guess. Makes sense to tie it up in a pony tail when you're not doing these things though..

Ponytails are fine, except, as someone else said, on men with thinning hair. What I find abhorrent is men who have a full head of hair but shave it off. Why? As far as I'm concerned, it does nothing to enhance their appearance, in fact, quite the opposite. Fair enough, I suppose, for men who are going bald anyway.

I'm guilty of this BUT when I grow hair in it grows into like a frizzy mess and it makes my face look fatter than it already is so I much prefer the shaved heed look.

As for ponytails, not a fan whatsoever.

There is no way in the WORLD that a shaved head on a man is worse than a PONYTAIL on a man.

I have a head of hair if anyone's wondering.
