I think Worthing used to have about 4 or 5 cinemas. The Dome and the Odeon are the obvious first two, I think there was another one called the Plaza which may have been on the road that continues off from the end of Montague Street, plus another possibly called the Tivoli where the roundabout near Blockbusters now stands.

We used to go to the Odeon, one person would pay, go in and let the others in through the emergency exit near the bogs.

Oh, those were the days...

Yep.... went there many a time..... had a few 'knee tremblers' with various girfriends in my formative teenage years in there too ( well not all the way, 3rd base and wash yer hands afterwards type thing)....


Those were the days.
