What sort of season have FCUM had?

Any players worth keeping an eye on?

They have lost all 4 games since beating Rochdale so obviously been saving themselves for this cup final.

Do FC Halifax play at the Shay?

Yes

Since the Rochdale game
unlucky to lose at Northwich never do anything there though a draw would a been a fair result
lost at Colwyn Bay played terrible didnt deserve anything
Hinckley United a team in a higher league should have won that 3 goals disallowed and 2 of the most blatant penalties I've seen turned down and I hope that if ever any of our coaching staff or manager ever act like they did they are sacked before they even leave the ground
Ashton forget that one a few squad players but mainly the youth team in a cup game we didn't really want to win

Mike Norton been banging goals in for fun almost every year has been one of the non leagues highest goal scorers not as many goals this season after stepping up a level to play for FC

Carlos Roca feet like lightening only problem some time his feet are to fast for his brain can go on a great run but sometimes forget to take the ball with him or pass to the corner flag even though the rest of his team mates are on the other side of the pitch a good player on his day just depends which one turns up

Jerome Wright like Roca but a bit faster and with more of an end product

Nick Platt midfield powerhouse

Ben Deegan big strong centre forward but I dont expect him to play after limping out of tonights game pity as he could have been the difference to us slightly making a bit more of a game out of it

Yes. The original Halifax went down the path that Portsmouth and Palace should have gone down, i.e. they went bust and re-formed.

Also in that league is the proud name of Bradford (Park Avenue). Lost in the play-offs last year and are struggling a bit this year as their wealthy owner is apparently feeling the effects of the recession and has cut back his investment this season. (They've be writing to me asking for money).

Incidentally, when Avenue were a Football League club their record against the real Man U was:
P:18 W:9 D:1 L:8

EDIT: I was replying to Timbo but I clicked the wrong button.

They are very low in their league but do have quite a few games in hand. However this is the FA Cup and league positions don't count for that much, it's a sure thing that EffSee players will half kill themselves to get something from this game so never say never.

makes a big difference that 40 quid a game

As for the league most people would be happy to sit in this league at least for another season or two until we get our own ground even at this level there are still a lot teams paying 10 to 15 times the wage that the players at FC are getting
