With Bunk providing a bit of solidity at the back.

Omar would be a great signing for Brighton - that would cut down on the homophobic chanting

Not sure you've thought this through. I don't think Omar and String could play together. And Omar would pick up too many red cards. String could be handy, though - he'd always get someone else carry the can while he keeps a clean disciplinary record.

Bunk's carrying too much weight, surely.

Marlo could be a useful player - shaping things around him without getting noticed much, like Gary McAllister a few years back.

Good stuff. Have also had some faith restored by what is a fantastic transfer window for us.

It's just a shame the spine of the squad wasn't sorted out MONTHS ago because we could have been looking a promotion ASSAULT this season instead of next.

I'm sure that MA and DK have been tearing their hair out waiting for this stupid transfer window to arrive, and having to take all the abuse on here without any chance of fixing it.

But well done MA and DK!!:clap2:

Had a quick look at WACCOE, they started off by thinking that McNulty was a done deal for them but now he's signed for us they say that Leeds were never after him. Some of them seem almost shocked that somebody would turn them down for us. However they seem to need cash as they can't sign anybody on a fee until they have unloaded a few. Maybe Kilkeny won't be loaned to Oldham.

Sorry, kinda lost.

Who is Bunk, Omar and String?

The Wire - arguably the best TV series ever. Bunk, Marloe, Stringer are key characters, as is Jimmy McNulty (you see what we did there). I can't recommend it enough, and neither can Charlie Brooker or NSC's own El Presidente, for what it's worth.

McNulty was played by (Old Etonian) Dominic West, whom you might have seen on your tellybox recently playing Cromwell in The Devil's Whore.

Great signing :clap: completes the squad in my opinion, meaning livermore can drop into central midfield with jarret at long last, and really good competition up front. I presume with more snow due tommorrow will be off, but really looking forward to saturday now!

Precisely. Just goes to show what a bunch of no-faith fickle fans Brighton's can be. Well done DK and MA. Shame tomorrow's game's going to be off in some respects.

From 606...Stockport fan here.
McNulty is a class act on his day. Got a bit lazy and disinterested towards the end for us. Pacy and gets forward a lot, should do well for you. We also had Craig Davies on loan for a while and he performed brilliantly for us. Holds the ball up well, and a good finisher. Can't understand why he wasnt even in the squad at Oldham for most games.

Good Luck for the rest of the season!

Au contraire. Most people have not remotely attacked Adams' ability to attract players - more his ability to use them correctly once he's got them.

Let's hope lessons have been learned, and we can all look forward to the rest of the season with some proper optimism at last.

Falmer, soon...
I'm just a little bit gutted that we now actually have an official Brighton & Hove Albion left back in our squad. When we lose now I can't put it down to the fact that we don't have recognised defenders :( It's now purely because we're shit.
