McLaren have been given a suspended three-race ban for misleading stewards at the Australian Grand Prix by motor sport's governing body, the FIA.

The British team admitted five charges of breaching Formula One rules at a special inquiry on Wednesday in Paris.

Surely Hamilton will leave them at the end of this season

They got off scott-free then. Must have been a few back-handers.
Fortunate.

Gonna fade as others catch up as Brawn with the Honda money that designed and produced this car no longer have the massive budgets that paid for this car. I too hope he continues to do well but I'm sure the other big boys are gonna catch and overtake Brawn once the get to Europe. McLaren will be one of those that do catch him imo.

As for McClaren, there are few enough makes competing already, it would be detrimental to the sport if McClaren had been suspended, glad they only got a suspended penalty.

I guess you are not a fan of Formula 1 Easy, if you were you might feel differently..

I'm not saying I WANTED them clobbered, just that on past experience, the FIA usually have the gloves off with McLaren, or anyone else other than Ferrari. I was expecting the team to be banned for a couple of races at least, but for the sentence to be suspended was surprising, I thought.

Wouldn't call meself an "F1 fan", but I have a passing interest in it.

yeah BrawnGP will fade abit but if Button manages to hang on in there then he has every chance to win it.

If Ferrari were leading or around the leaders and McClaren running them I close I have no doubt that is exactly what would have happened. However with Ferrari looking like the new Minardi at the moment I guess it's of no consequence to them
