thought maybe playing 4-4-2 from the start with Jarrett starting needed somone to hold and carry the ball in the game. First half we played well passing the ball better than i have seen for a long time. Missed Virgo and Nicolas for obvious reasons...quality !!!!
but think next two games are vital and feeling 4 points :clap2:
great day out and night out in Whitly Bay very messy !!!

I think Sunderland would have scored regardless, at least McGhee has the balls to make a decision when he deems it necessary and take the responsibility for it if or when it doesn't work out.

No-one is going to get it right all the time, as long as he gets it right more often than he gets it wrong, that's fine with me.

We had started getting too deep defensively by then and we needed an outlet to give the three centre halves controlling LK soemthing else to think about. Sundwerland had brought lawrence into the game much more and Currie was just getting in the way of our midfield.

And we were going to try and win AT SUNDERLAND!!!!!!!

Shows how far we have come from getting thumped 0-4 at Griffin park, or 0-2 at Keilwoth Road!

The subs didnt bother me but currie upfront seemed a strange decision. We missed Virgo and Nicolas. Curries creativness in midfield was missed as well but they are a very good side Sunderland i tip them for promotion.
