OK, OK. But APART from that...*compiles endless list in head of other examples that disproves own point*

Not only on the pitch but off it does McGhee demonstrate what a fantastic, caring and compassionate person he really is.

When that poor young boy who was an Albion fan got killed by a car in Lancing he went round to his distraught parents on christmas eve and also attended the funeral with some of the players.

He also bothered turning up for the Tom Hark celebration party.

Sunderland away, but he is forgiven because he is honest enough to say he made a mistake. Top man, always welcome at my humble abode for a glass of malt

Unlike the little poison dwarf who used to blame everyone (including us!) except for himself. Still he's at a big club now. Ooops.

His tactics are excellent, his "gambles" - sticking Virgo up front, triple substitutions - always seem to pay off (the lucky git, he is allowed to screw up too but he never seems to) and his attitude to the fans, players and board are I would say, exemplary - much better, IMHO than blessed little Micky.

On top of that, he seems an absolutely first class top bloke to boot - honest, direct and with his feet on the ground about the sadly limited resources he has to play with. We're lucky in extreme to have him.

Damn it, sign! Do it! Now!
Agree with all of that. MM must be yet another quality manager who enjoys working with our board, so credit to them for getting yet another class act signed up to run the show.

He certainly seems to have galvanised the team into an effective unit. We have had no problem attracting decent managers in the recent past, keeping them has been the problem - and whatever MM says, if we get a NO to Falmer and a 'bigger' club comes in for him, I'm sure he'll be off - and I wouldn't blame him.

But, hey, don't worry about that because Falmer will be a YES

Perhapse our fantastic rendition of "drinking pints of whisky" on Saturday helped him to decide?

If he signs, how about clubbing together to send him a vintage bottle of the delightful liquid? Single malt of course.:lolol:
