One BIG question remains unanswered though - what has happened with the investment? has the chap who wanted McGhee out taken his pledge away as a result?

Good point, and one that will no doubt be answered soon.

Maybe Dean Wilkins being promoted and one or two other (unspecified) provisos (ie budget or give MM a certain amount of time/points target etc etc) were the compromises

Deano's first training session should be good:

"No Mark he is a striker , we don't play them in defence and you sure you have never heard the term set-piece"

What has he wasted so far?

NB This is not an attack, just interested as to who you think has been a 'waste'.

El Turi would be the one that stands out

Nicolas never plays - waste of wages?
Jarrett and Molango have been paid for 2 years work so fair with little return and they have another to go unless off loaded
Carole is debatable if he is worth 75k of agents fees.

I am going to reserve judgement on El Turi. He has struggled with injury and perhaps will 'do a job' for us next season.

It is a shame about Nicolas. I guess he was a useful player to have as a potential backup, but that never materialised.

Carole could be a great player if he was a little more concious of others around him and playing people into space rather than putting them under pressure. He has some hard work to do over the summer.

Agree about Jarrett and Molango. Jarrett looked (partially)electric early season and then fizzled out. Molango :( Looked so promising if it wasn't for his first touch!
