Here, there and every where
Back page of the argus. and it also says he is unsure about kerekes, and has decided not to go ahead with Tankary.

I haven't seen him in any friendlies, but from what i've heard he sounds good.

Saw his two goals against Crawley on Meridian last night and both looked quality, especially the first. At 20 he could be a good prospect and link well with Knight once he completes his suspension. From what I've seen and heard he's a step up in class from Iwelumo.

Sounds like the right one to sign. Haven't seen him play but all everyone is making the right noises about him. Is he different enough to Knight to be able to combine well with him or are they slightly similar? (that question is to anyone who's seen him play)

Blimey Bald Gull - are you suggesting opinions on players are confined to those that have seen them play. I have never let a complete absence of facts or experience get in the way of an opinion on NSC.

In fact, isn't it compulsory to be ignorant of the facts before posting an opinion on NSC?

Very true. Apologies for my naive question.

What does anyone think? (even if you've never seen him play or indeed heard of him)

Absolutely, I have never seen this bloke play due to being stranded in the north-west of England, but I can confidently say that Molango is by far the best of the three trialists, that the other two are rubbish, and that Guy Butters appears to have put on a little weight over the summer and should be auctioned off on Ebay immediately.

I think we should sign Molango because he looks a class striker and give Kerekes a short term deal to see how he gets on.

Having a 6ft 5 striker is a useful option and maybe with a couple of months of trainng to the British way of football he could become useful. We could always loan him out to Crawley and see how he gets on before having to make a decision about a long term deal.

I have seen a picture of Malonga on the website, and therefore believe I may be a little over-qualified on this issue. But it seems to me that he's the best player we've ever seen & will end up playing for Real Madrid alongside Raul. I say Sign Him Up

Got a text message off a friend whose sister once bought a copy of the Argus off a bloke who walks his dog past Withdean, and his dog assures me he will work well alongside Kanchelskis. It's a dead cert.

You heard it here first...

With the shortage of money why would you sign anyone that couldn't go straight in the first team?

I would in this instance as we are drastically short of cover up front, with Mcphee still out injured and Knight suspended for 3 games, a short term deal fro the Big Man seems a good idea.

And then re-asses things at the end of that when Knight and hopefully Mcphee are available again.

David Lee?

Nothing wrong with offering Kerekes a 3 month contract.

2 wrongs don't make a right.

Can we have a couple of wingers, please? Only 1 if he thinks Dan Beck is going to be good enough.

But MM has already made it clear that he wont sign anyone who wont go straight in the 1st team and stay there.
A good policy if we are to improve and survive

Molango 1 year deal
Kerekas 3 months to prove himself one way or the other could this not be funded by the 40 note appeal?

Would Kerekas want a 3 month contract? Most players usually want a year's contract minimum.
