He had an operation on his leg muscle to put that right and was a lot better until some Nottm Forest player decided to help him rip his shoulder muscle from his bone.

To be honest, I am delighted that he is playing at all because I thought that was going to be the end of his career. It was one time when I couldn't be optimistic.

Just got home, that was bollocks for a number of reasons

the formation. nobody knew what they were ment to be doing, leon had to tell seb and fruity a number of times what was going on in first half.

Leon as a target man.
FFS Mcghee its basic you dont play someojne who is 5ft as a target man

Oatway.
was utter shit AGAIN what was he doing for first goal? he had time and space but decided to spastic it into net,

Mcghee has to go, the full backs cost brighton this game it was clear to EVERYONE that a new lb was needed in summer and mcghee failed in this one simple task

Aha - the giveaway - the ball was rocketed across the 6 yard area, and Oatway hardly had time to get out of the way, let alone direct it away from the goal.

Oatway may not be up to it at this level, but that's hardly McGhee's fault - who else have we got? If Carpenter was fit, Oatway would be on the bench.

No he wouldnt, Its called skill, he had ample time not to spastic it into own net

No call for that. You have a point of view which you are very vociferous in making.
Others may have a different point of view.

How many managers would have put up with the conditions that MM has to work under?

I was sitting just in front of Little when he crossed it in and Oatway was clumsy but not spasticated. He was running towards his own goal and could not have known who was behind him. Frutos and Reid should take the blame.

It wasn't like that though, was it? Have another look - Oatway simply cocked up.

No, that's an urban myth started by Micky Adams and taken up by some of the more gullible elements of Brighton's supporters.

No - it's true. Compared to the likes of Henderson and Roberts, Kuipers' kicking is dire. He either doesn't aim for anyone, or isn't good enough to put it where he is aiming for.

You have dealt to the teams in other leagues a large insult. He's fit enough for them, but not fit enough for us?

anyone who knows they will not get there p45 no matter how badly they do

Hinshelwood was asked to vacate that particular chair.
If DK really thought things were that bad he wouldn't hesitate to sack McGhee.
Every poll recently asking about McGhee has resulted with roughly 75% or more saying keep him.

Who bothers with the phone in? Most of the people at the game don't as they are in cars or trying to get home.

People are turning? You reckon you could work a bit harder to convince them then?

5-1 (Plymouth) and losing 6 games in a row last season didn't do it.

Yes I do, people like beach hut do the phone in.

There was ample people who were anti mcghee yesterday
Straight after the game is usually pretty emotive anyway.
People feel differently a couple of days later when they have time to get things into more perspective. Even today's threads are more moderate than yesterday evenings.

.

Not exactly true as we could not afford to

(a) sack him

(b) pay anybody better

(c) buy or pay for the players that a new manager would want to bring in.

Although whenever any club sack a manager they miraculously suddenly find money available to strengthen the side and say that the money was available all of the ime for the previous manager.

I believe the answer is very simple MM is good enough in general to keep us up but money must be made available from wherever for him to strengthen the side and DK has said it will be.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating of it.
