Apparently Millwall have recalled McGammon after today's game. Please MM think wisely about a new loan striker. He still would like to take over his contract at some stage though.

Not a particularly bad thing, as it means MM will surely have to keep Leon in the team now and hopefully playing up front with OGH playing like they did against Spurs. However it does limit our options and could mean Virgs having to go upfront again, when he's been fantastic in defence with Butters and Hinsh.

MM is keen on keeping Virgs in defence and looking for another loan striker according to the Anus.

Could be a good thing. MM has had a good look at McGammon and knows what he has to offer. Now we can get another player in and see if he is any better. Lets keep our options open at this stage.

I know about the money issue but I wonder how close an eye he is keeping on Big Trev? He was Coppout's loan signing though wasnt he?? Maybe McGhee doesnt think as much of him.

If I remember correctly, Big Trev was a McGhee signing.

Yeah I'm almost certain he was.

 Mark MacCammon. Don't know if he'll play today but I hope if he does he gets a goal, he's worked hard for us :)

What about Dexter Blackstock at Southampton hasn't had much of a look in since Harry went there and played Phillips and Crouch up front they also have Brett Ormerod as back up.

Me too. I think some people are on his back purely because Millwall fans hated him before he came here. He hasn't been exceptional but cetainly hasn't looked out of place in this league.

Bit similar to Leon though? Don't think those two would be effective together for the same reasons Knight and Robinson wouldn't.

Just looked on the players available list and found
Callum Flanagan Man Utd 6ft1in 11.5st DOB 19/9/85.

Anybody know anything about him has never played for the first team and is on a free seems the right size etc.

My reasoning is that he has been at Man Utd since school so he will have learnt the game properly from top coaches is over 6ft so should be able to win the ball in the air rather than Knight or Robinson. Wouldnt cost much money I wouldnt think.

Is he worth a look? I dont know.

Decent player but not the target man we need.

Really we have to think about the wages here. Premiership players wont have very cheap wages.

Oh come on lets not be realistic about this. Why waste money on Mcgammon when we could just as easily get Henry or Rooney.

In the case of Callum Flanagan of Man U he has never played for the first team so his wages wouldnt be extremly high I wouldn't think.

We once got a Man U winger for free who didnt turn out to be too bad. Peter O'SULLIVAN.
