When has the big target man striker ever worked for the Albion? Teddy Maybank?

We need a striker who can run around a bit. Can Mammon do this?

Both Mike Robinson and Mike Small did run around a bit. Maybe, the description "target man" is a bit iffy.

But this is what Teddy Maybank was.

I prefer to see the ball played through midfield and the strikers run off the ball. This requires forwards with stamina.

Gary Lineker and Michael Owen had a bit more stamina than Leon Knight and Peter Ward.

These little strikers can be useful if the opponents pack their defence.

McCammon will be another Iwelumo. Basically crap but frightening and opens the spaces for Knight. Won't score a lot of goals but will lay off and put the fear of God into defences.

I would have said that was the bare minimum we needed up front this serason and although Virgs played well he doesn't have the nous for it.

The fly in the oitnment is not McCammon it's Knight. McCammon will be successful if Knight plays... and if Knight plays well. otherwise it has to be Molango..... is that his name... it's been so long...
