I honestly think re Magammon there would be some managers that handle him better and we could get more out of him. I still cannot understand why magoo backed him to the hilt and then went totally in the opposite direction and publically told us his usefulness to the club had gone and he should move on. It is a bit of a no brainer

What?

I cannot believe what I am reading.

The guy was shit, never kept himself in shape and showed no talent whatsoever.

So he scored a goal. Big f***ing deal. Even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.

This man should not be a professional footballer.

Mona, poor treatment? McGhee gave him endless chances, many more chances than he gave Iwelumo who he wrote off as being 'not good enough for the Championship' before the season began. I guess we'll see if Iwelumo is good enough next season, eh?

Also, having watched the Championship this morning, McCammon's goal was a simple finish into a virtually unguarded net which I would expect any park footballer to be embarassed at missing.

I have to say that for once I am in full accord with Mr Morris and Mr Harris although I might not have used the same words.

McCammon has never looked like a Chmpionship player apart from maybe against Sunderland last season. He's slow and seems to be permanently unfit, even the Bristol City manager said so. I agree that he's had his fair share of chances and frankly if Iwelumo wasn't good enough then where does that put McCammon. ?

I'm pleased for the player that things are going well at Ashton Gate, maybe in the close season they'll make us an offer to take him off our books (by that we won't end up paying them). The bloke has an attitude and the fact that he seems to feel that he's better than most people who've seen him play think he is doesn't do him any favours.

Granted few of us if any have played professional football but as the paying public who have seen more than a few players come and go we can spot a failure when we see one.

what do you know about anything?

Apparently you want to go into a profession that involves writing and conveying information to people. You have no idea how to do either. You get everything wrong, be they facts or spelling.

Shut the f*** up.

So another thread saying ooohh shouldn't of let him go...see he scored a goal !!!

Complete bollocks, he is shit...as for causing problems for defenders...maybe at league 1 level but he certainly hasn't caused problems with decent defenders at this level

I certainly didn't see the Southampton back four struggle with him.

And it would seem now that we have got rid of him...we need a new fall guy and it seems Robinson might be the guy.... For f*** sake, he is a young lad in and out of a struggling side get either 10 mins at the end or if he starts only gets about an hour.

These will be the same moaners that if we then get rid of him and he scores will post threads Robinson scores

Maybe we should have kept hold of McCammon, maybe we shouldn't...but there is so many two-faced people on here who want to slag off players then say look he scored we should have kept him

I'll say what I've always thought:- he's decidedly average, and definitely not good enough at Championship level.

At a lower level, he'll hold the ball up well, is a handy target man and is able to header the ball adequately enough. However, his shooting is absolutely shit, he has no movement and no pace. He may carve out a career at League 1 level or league 2, but only for a team who is happy for him to score 7 or 8 goals a season - maximum.

Oddly enough, that was one game where he would have been a nightmare to defend against, if only he could shoot. You say they didn't struggle, but I was sat in the home end and every time he got the ball, the home support shat themselves. That said, what they didn't realise was that once he had the ball undercontrol and was facing goal, he had the pace of a tortoise, and the shooting power of a domestic cat.

He won a few flick on's but without the ablity to direct his headers it made it pointless

Involved in all 3 goals Saturday, one excellent finish and lay-offs/assists for the other two. It's interesting because unlike Leon Knight, Big Mac is still an Albion player.

But unfortunately Magoo's pigheadedness means he will never wear an Albion shirt again unless there is a change of manager.

Please don't respond with your drivel because i'm logging off now.

Why not start a campaign to get Big Mac back, I'll support it! :D

All your immaturo NSP mates might never speak to you again, but, hey, small loss

I knew you'd not be able to resist...

I've always thought McCammon can do a job and most of NSP know that, whether they agree or not really doesn't matter because Magoo will never play him again anyway.
