I can still recall Pete Tong first playing this on his wonderful Friday evening show, as I rushed to record it on cassette.

Had a rebelious vibe to his songs that could be appreciated by anyone, rebelious or not.

For many years related to him.. the complexity of being a human and the humanityless path we're on. He put difficult words into the struggle... a great poet and a great loss. I understand his struggles, it is shared by millions,

Saw them live many times, including a private party some 20 years ago. They really weren't the same without Maxi.

(Didn't know he was a Palace fan until yesterday.)

My brother was a good friend of his. I think they were in the same Buddhist group. My nephew is even named after him!
