Not sure I understand the Ryan love in.
He ran up and down a pitch a few times. When his form dipped, how absolutely dare the club drop him - toys out the pram and an enormous amount of disrespect towards the club but also the fans. From the "Whilst I'm a Brighton player I'll fight for my place" to "Brighton was always a stepping stone" - that comment alone was enough for me to think, sod him.
His stats are not great at all, he had clear obvious problems and season just gone he got worse and worse. I'm not entirely sure what he expected, nonetheless, to be a number 1 keeper at a big club, you need to do the basics right. Ryan got them wrong regularly. I wish him luck warming the benches of the big clubs. But I don't hold him in high regard, I don't buy the "he kept us up". Not really, we just didn't have anyone to replace him at the time or I reckon we really would have got rid sooner than later.

But that's exactly what those stats do. They support exactly what you're saying so by dismissing them you are also dismissing your own point...
They literally analyse every shot he faced and decide what the outcome should have been (based on substantial data from previous similar situations). Then by comparing it to his actual performance over a season you are able to see if overall he performed better than expected or worse. In short, great in our first season, not so great in our second, great in our third, not so great in our fourth.
Sanchez has outperformed Ryan statistically in any season this year.
Brighton are a stepping stone, always have been and probably always will be.
I'd agree - if that was always true. But I am not sure Maty has 'stepped' up yet in this case

Personally, I didn't didn't find him disrespectful at all.
If anything, our fans were disrespectful to him saying he was short and a cry baby.

TBH I feel like I've been disrespected more this season by Graham Potter's comments than Maty Ryan's as a fan
For players who are too good for us, yes.
Not for players who aren't good enough to get in our team.
Maty can barely make the Arsenal bench.

Not sure what your point is. I'm sure that Dunk could have left for a bigger club, bigger wages etc but he chose not to. That's his choice.
Wasn’t great in our third that’s why they do not tell the whole story.

Why does it matter?
I'm sorry but that is absolute rubbish. He statistically had an almost identical season to his first with the Albion in 19/20. He played every minute of every game (of which I watched every minute of) and anecdotally, made some of his best saves for the club.
- Arsenal Away (scoops the ball off the line and around the post to keep us in the lead in the 86th minute)
- Southampton Away (Vestergard thunder ******* somehow kept out of the top corner - arguably his best save)
- Villa Away (Grealish free-kick that beat the wall)
- Spurs Home (splendid strong arm to stop a Lucas Moura shot going in
- Wolves Home (great, brave 1-1 save to stop Jota from scoring a hat-trick)
I could go on and on, but he was objectively very good for us in that season by all metrics. He's moved on, and we have a more exciting, taller keeper between the sticks who has come through our academy. No need to rewrite history to suit an anti-Ryan narrative.
Here's a selection of his finest moments, many from 19/20.

Eh? Stepping stone means stepping up. If you’re not stepping up, it’s not a stepping stone. Pretty straightforward really.
It's amazing what can be done with CGI. I know it's CGI because apparently Ryan didn't have to make any saves because he was always protected by Dunk and Duffy!!!
