and wtf was he doing on their goal? - what's the point of trying to run 18 yards back to the goal line as the opponent starts a five yard run up to take a free kick?

and does he realise he is allowed to cross the half way line in the second half?

What a stupid thread. Richards settled in after one game first time and I thought he played well yesterday. As "we can't afford to wait another six games" who would you replace him with then. Another stupid, moaning thread about one of our better players.

I was impressed personally.

He looked creative and made forward runs linking up with the midfield, her kept the ball moving and did some fantastic creative play.

everyone I know who watches the games admits that Richards took about 5 games to settle in before he started playing well.

He had a decent 30 to 40 minutes, but when the game dragged on he got poorer. He will get better in every game, it took time for him to settle in first time around. I think he will settle down much better this time. Richards looks more like a midfielder then a left back, but he does give us better options then we did have with Rents and Sam Gargan!
