What is the point in speculating how long O’Riley will be out for? Apparently half our fanbase turn into Doctors with 0 information available apart from a 2 second clip.

Wait and see what the club said and don’t get worked up about it.
Looks like metatarsal from where it hit him and how he reacted. That’s 3-5 months out. Guess won’t be named in our squad if that is the case.

That's what it looked like to me - but I didn't have the perfect view of it.
And agreed, it'd be Jan earliest if that is the injury, imo.

Edit: May well be ankle, not foot, as per Twitter/X.

Sadly, this it the reality.

He didn’t say anything of the sort in the interview I just watched. Said he hasn’t even spoken to the lad yet.

It’s shit and a really shit tackle. But was it worth risking a new signing two days after he’s signed?

A lesson learnt maybe for Fab or even the club if there was any pressure.

It was clear he was being brought in specifically for a role that no one else in the club can currently fill. Why risk him against league 1 Crawley in a nothing game.

Did you say that before the match?

it wasn’t really a nothing game given it’s a viable trophy - something we drastically lack and our past results against lower league teams
