Not all all. I just won’t be intimidated by the likes of them, and I certainly won’t be bullied into silence just for calling out the massive over reaction to last nights events.
People who complain about being "bullied into silence" are usually bullies themselves who want the freedom to antagonise without resistance. Bad luck Fatty, wrong forum. Now f*** off.

You do care, a lot, and we’re clearly far from irrelevant or you wouldn’t keep shouting it from the roof tops! The only person you’re trying to convince is yourself, you’re certainly not convincing anyone else with your little tantrums.

As has been explained to you MANY times over…

1. Polite’ish opinions are welcomed, even yours, that’s the whole point of this forum. None of us are wallflowers.

2. There is no clique, just a common theme, of individuals that take issue with the unnecessarily aggressive, toxic, bitter (‘palace’) way in which you choose to communicate. BHA has (we like to think) a ‘no dick heads policy’ so I would hope does NSC, and you sir, act like a D!ck Head so don’t get so emosh when people call you out for it. ✌🏻😘

Ffs. Still going on I see. Just don’t engage with me pal. I won’t ever back down to the likes of you. You’re wasting your time with your personal attacks and intimidation tactics. Move on please.

What do you mean, what am I going to do about it? There’s nothing I can do about except express my anger and my opinion. And where’s a good place to do that? I know, how about a football forum, in a thread discussing that very topic? For heaven’s sake. That’s what we’re all here for surely? To express opinions and emotions.

What’s really bloody annoying though is to find the place infected by trolls from Palace and Crawley whose only purpose seems to be 1) inflame and agitate other people and then 2) pretend to be so bored and pissed off with people who feel agitated as a result.
The issue isn't that you are angry about it

It's the fact you are also angry at anyone else who isn't as angry as you about it.

Why worry about how others view it?

The fact you think anyone who doesn't share your view is a "troll" is bizarre to say the least.

"you should be furious like most people. To regard it as just a bit “annoying” means you’re absolutely not reading the room on this one. Understand the anger or back off" was what you said to me simply saying it was annoying. You actually told me how I should be feeling about it.

I'm sorry you are really furious about it. Others are more level headed. Don't let it wind you up.

Think we have to agree to disagree on this. You definitely don't see players doing what Andone did, all the time.

This isn't to take away from how bad Williams' tackle was btw.
Happy to disagree, but to humour me, could you to take another look at the Andone video, and compare with the Williams challenge (below)

Andone jumps in (bad), but is trying to use that action to gain control of the ball, which is why he twists around during the impact.
He executes the challenge badly and is rightly given a red card as he catches the opponent with excessive force.
However. most of the impact of the foul comes from Andone's Arse/back hitting the opponent. His foot also catches the leg of the saints player ( who carried on in the game and had no time out for injury).

Now look again at Williams "challenge".

The impact on the players receiving the force is significantly different.

Has to be too early to predict, surely? All depends on the success of the surgery, response to rehabilitation and recovery. I suppose there are average times based on previous cases but as I said earlier, it’s impossible to be accurate because every injury is unique, as is the player.

Absolutely, hence what the manager said in the press conference but that was what I heard as the expectation. Fingers crossed it’s correct.

I've never played football to any level but always thought Andone was too harshly criticised for that tackle. It's clear (to me) what he was trying to do, but he f***ed it up.

There was the very nasty elbow prior to that which he got a retrospective 3 game ban for, plus he dived in on a couple of occasions in matches prior and got away with it. He was always “on the edge”.

Also worth noting that challenge seriously impacted his own career, rather than putting at risk his opponent's career.

Did he?

Surely it was just the 3 game ban for the straight red, no?

The elbow was missed, he wasn’t sent off during the match. He got the ban afterwards when they reviewed the footage.

My bad, I thought he was sent off during the match

Edit: Sorry I thought you meant he wasn't sent off in the Saints game.
