[Politics] Matt Hancock is a hands-on kind of man.

Had to go, press conferences where he sets out rules would’ve been a farce.

Arrogantly held on to his position for a day and a half too long.

Possibly more footage/photos to appear in The Scum?

Another huge misjudgment on BoJo’s part in not getting rid (allowing him to resign, whatever) immediately and trying to ‘close the matter’. They were never going to be able to smugly grin and gurn their way through this one and wait for it to pass…………..

Arrogant bunch of tools.

My instinct is that Boris had to wait for a resignation, not even pushing for it.

Because he has quite possibly got up to stuff too. A civil servant/contractor CCTV person is thought to have sold the footage to The Scum. What else does he have? Some ministers and senior civil servants are possibly concerned just now.

Almost certainly………but also Hancock must have Cummings-levels of dirt on BJs incompetence meaning BJ exposing himself (ugh) to even more risk if he’d fired him. What a ****ing mess.

Something not to forget.

During the worst hours of the pandemic many folk had loved ones dying alone in hospital. They couldn't be there at the end. Their loved ones died without them.

Johnson considered the matter closed. Just let that sink in.

A day late but gone.
The question now is why didn't he resign yesterday, or did he offer to resign and Johnson just assumed he could close the story down and leave Hancock as the main fall guy until the pandemic was over.

It’s by no means closed according to the Times.

BREAKING: Matt Hancock faces an investigation after using his personal email address to do Government business instead of an official one during the pandemic.

Job is almost done really………it’ll get over the line with or without him.

It would have got over the line without him in the first place, just a spokesperson, an imposter, he actually admitted it when things were going well, when it all went tits up (johnson) they claimed it all without a mention of the NHS and the volunteers, as would the world beating test and trace system if it was left to the NHS to carry it out locally.
Never trust or believe anything a Tory PM, Minister or MP says.

Is this the smarmiest cabinet we've ever had? I'm not overly political, but just as people they turn my stomach.

Johnson, Patel, Gove, Hancock and Mogg(I don't think he is actually cabinet?).

Urgh.
