Am I the only one on here who would rather lose Dunk than Duffy? Dunk would command a much bigger fee than Duffy but in my opinion Duffy had a better season than Dunk and I reckon, sending off apart, is more reliable.

That was a BHAFC fan saying they have had more administrations than us in response to us being called a smaller club.
That makes sense

Lots of people seem to be saying this signing implies a CB will leave. I’m leaning more towards the idea that our Graham wants to play three at the back, in which case he would need five to choose from.

I think that’s pretty nailed on. And you’d have to say Bernardo and Montoya would be ideal wing backs in that system.

i'm not usually one for a conspiracy theory, but ...,our recriutment over the last 18 months seems to insure wing backs and a 3-5-2 type system, and now arry potter arrives.

probably me just being a bit tiddlypops

I don't know about 'only' one, but Dunk is streets ahead of Duffy, and this will become all the more obvious under Potter who expects his players to play football. Dunk is clearly our best player, although I agree with you that Duffy had a tremendous season.
As much as I rate D&D (and especially Dunk) so highly, neither of them have much pace, and they've excelled as backs-to-the-wall CBs. If we had a defensive line higher up the pitch, I'd expect they'll be more exposed, and people will begin to question their defensive ability.

Sorry when we need better midfield and forwards cant get excited about signing our 5th CH. 6 If you count White. What did Balagon and Bunn do wrong when they played to justify this expense.

This expense? In today's Albion World it is almost a free transfer. I think the club is aware of what's needed in terms of goal scorers. Let's see what happens over the next couple of weeks once everybody is back

Burn didn’t do a lot wrong, Balogun certainly had a mistake or two in him. Nothing wrong with competition for places. Suspect Balogun may be off as according to reports he wants more game time.

Wouldn't be surprised if Balogun was off. A full Nigerian international, coming to Brighton, must have had high expectations of breaking through to the first team, instead of being 4th. choice, without a whiff of a possible 1st. team spot.
We've now got Burn, Clarke and White as back up.
