What did you think of the Albion performance from 55 minutes?

Wolves kept opening us, or nearly scoring from set pieces. Most Albion players lost complete control of the game.
This with bells on.

For all of those who think we don’t need Dunk, you saw precisely why we do need him today.

No organisation at the back, when the pressure came. Just sheer panic.

It definitely was obvious how much we missed Dunk. But a large part of the issue was tactical. I’m not sure how much Dunk would’ve improved that, to be honest, as the issues were in other areas of the pitch.

His passing/possession game missed as we ceded possession with ease.

Sure, but you have to communicate on the pitch, if the other team change things, leadership was lacking as soon as Welbeck went off.

And if bloody Veltman ‘flops’ again I’ll go mad…… For fecks sake stand-up man, you’re not getting free-kicks and just play everyone onside

No. Not writing him off at all, but if a few players struggle to adapt then all I'm saying is it's hardly surprising. Not all players adapt from coming from abroad and he does look off the pace so far. We've signed about 9 players in the last few months and if one or two disappoint then so be it. From what I've seen I just feel we have better midfield squad options than him. As before I never worry too much if we win or lose - I'm still pragmatic enough to accept it's only a game and nothing to get too upset about. Roll on Liverpool next week!

It is amazing that for a marquee signing he’s now behind Baleba, Ayari and Hinshelwood judging by Fab’s recent picks and may likely go one place back further when O’Riley joins the fray. All it’s left now is for Moder to overtake him. I don’t know the answer - loan in January?

Wow some people really need to get a grip with the over reaction. I know we're all gutted and yes it was a complete balls up with the 4 on 1. However, to start writing him off at this stage is ridiculous.
Agree, and he was fine at Newcastle and held the shape really well……. Which is precisely what he should have been doing today…..

At this stage I would say it is a long way back…..
Feel sorry for him, because it was such a howler

I’m more disappointed on letting a team with one point give us a football lesson for almost half the game. At home.

Veltman looked clueless against the player they brought on at half-time.
He was simply too quick.
O’Neill changed the game with his subs, they took over the midfield and controlled things.

Yep. Can blame Weiffer all we like but clear cut chances are often missed. We piled forward like a junior football game. Couldn’t believe it.

This 100%.

Stunningly poor football from the team. Any other team apart from Southampton leaves the defensive set up in place, to take the three points. Even for Arteta and Guardiola, that’s football basics.

It was a poor pass but why were four players charging forward anyway. Their instincts should have been to hold back and protect the win.
If it had just been Ferguson, it would have been game over

maybe he thought he had blurred vision . . . .

I agree, 4 players ploughing forward like that was lads up thre park stuff.

a poor decision by FH to make late subs when all we needed was to kill the tempo and see the game out. Some poor on field decisions by multiple players.

as usual people have to have a scape goat, and given Webster's injured and Ferguson scored, this weeks winner is MW.

I’m actually embarrassed by some of our fan base.

I’m sure they will be back here in the weeks / months ahead praising the guy.

Shambles.

If you can’t support our players during the tough times then f*** off.

Indeed.

Guy Butters ended up getting player of the season after a SHOCKING start.
