Doesn't matter if it's a mistake or not. You can find many examples of firms falling foul of the ASA because they haven't included the VAT in some of their adverts - The Hilton and Holiday Inn hotel chains being two. In all cases afaik they all changed their adverts when the mistake (lets be generous and say it was unintentional) was pointed out to them, none of them tried the "So? It's covered by the small print." excuseSo if it is a genuine mistake there are no mitigating circumstances and they're found guilty as charged ?
