How many youngsters tend to make it from his current age group? Do Chelsea tell you that?

thats not the point,hes only 13,still playing for fun,but hes been brought up to understand that only a few chosen few make it in the game.But all the time he is deemed good enough to be selected,then he will continue.

I wasn't trying to insinuate anything. Just interested how Chelsea play it. I remember seeing a documentary on young/youth players and how hard it was. Plenty of them forgoing any sort of decent education to 'live the dream'.

I hope we (Brighton) allow players to take A-Levels as I am certain that was not the case not so long ago.
