Hi,

My lad is keen to see the Brighton players arrive on Monday as we've never done that since going to the Amex. Does anyone know how many hours before kick off they usually start arriving so I can get him there on Monday for around that time? Also do they go in the same door the away teams use when they arrive or do they go in further down towards the North Stand?

Thanks

Not sure about The Amex but I would say the norm for the home team is about 1pm and away teams are usually 1.30pm.

But probably earlier on Monday given the 2.30pm kick off time!

I reckon to guarantee seeing someone you need to be there 3 hours before kick off.

Will get there at 11ish then and see what happens. Is it same door as away team arrive do you know in West?

I was at Amex doing Sat AM tour at the Bolton game . we finished at 11 ish to see the players arriving and going into East hospitality for prematch lunch . Not saying this is the Norm but thats what we saw on that particular matchday

They start piling out AFTER the game around 60-120 minutes after final whistle, probably the best time to catch them.

Edit: And they usually come out from the East, but if you stand outside the car park at the bottom they all go to pick their cars up.

Thanks, daft question but when you say car park, have they got their one one then? Or do they park in the main ones at the top.
We've always just got off the train and gone straight into the stadium so not really ventured around looking for the players before.

Answered for me, yeah they have their own and usually walk from West to East (NW corner) to go pick them up, well, they did the day I saw them off to the car park. Probably avoiding the north stand boozers

They have to walk past the north stand boozers to get to their car park. The north stand has two entrances.

Yep but the north west entrance near the ticket office is somewhat quieter.

Really? That's where all the smokers congregate with pints in hand. The north east entrance is normally empty, making it easier to spot the players walking past. That's how I got Calde to sign my shirt.

I meant the one around the corner as you go towards the east, I think we mean the same one... my compass isn't particularly good, thank God for sat nav!

Think I'll hang around the car park with my boy nice and early and see who arrives. Least I'll know if we are too late if there is a car park full of flash motors already !! Will try after the match then.
Photos and autographs be good, he's after Bruno's and Stockdales.

That's probably about right. The club does have specialist dieticians advising the players and they need to make sure they have the correct intake of carbo hydrates etc before a match so I would imagine the only way to do that is by them eating at the ground

What's his name and I will see what I can do about the autographs for him. Not sure bout the photo because the players lounge is separate from the Managers Lounge but I can ask. I can def get him Chris and Colin's autograph for sure
