Why should they be able to park in Coldean & Moulsecoomb? People in those zones already plan family occasions around match days to allow for visitors parking. There is Hollingbury & Hollingdean that are currently zone free and not far to walk or bus.

Surveys are easy to manipulate e.g if you travel by train wanna keep that say im happy to pay tenner per person by Park N Ride because of loads answer that for example the club are more likely to go with it as there is less resistance. Tactical voting you might argue. Survey needed some free format text input.

I’ve never seen you say anything positive about the train service, it was completely fine against Brentford. You keep on saying you think they are held to ransom, but they get what they pay for, 6 trains an hour. You cannot fit anymore trains along line, I’ve found a way to 194 football games this season, with and without trains, if you really want to go you find a way.
On Boxing Day we had Southampton away, in any case there has never been trains on Boxing Day as long as I’ve been alive.
So 4 carriages post match Falmer to Lewes is ok ? There are many examples of where the trin service is exceptionally poor.

You can’t have more than a 4 coach 377 if you want to turn around in platform 5 at Lewes. If you don’t turn around in platform 5 at Lewes you have 2 less trains an hour. If a 313 is provided you can have 6, there has not been a service in the last 3 weekend games where less than 40 carriages an hour have been provided on Brighton - Lewes - Falmer. If you can magic extra carriages out of nowhere and an extension to Lewes Platform 5, I would love to hear it. Compared to many other stadiums in the country that is a far better service, you just choose to moan about it, because you can’t get a seat, which I’m afraid is a completely unrealistic expectation. I think also despite your negativity, there are a lot of very hardworking people (and a lot of Brighton fans) who put a plan in every match day to provide a good service with the resources available, if you want to make the plan go ahead and come up with a better one.

Queued for almost an hour getting out of Wembley the other day after the Finalissma, that has 5 high frequency tube stations nearby. Also took me 25 minutes to get out of the car park at Eastleigh, football is movement of large crowds, most football stadiums aren’t in city centres. I always wait 30 mins/45 mins and have a pint or two or three after the game as I want to have an enjoyable day, and not look at everything transport related as grey clouds, it is what it is and I have a fine day out with or without the train.Yep. People disappear on 80 mins partly because this might happen……but most of the time it doesn’t. I’ve clapped the lads off and been back in Lewes by 5.30 the last couple of games. You more than anyone on here will know the Amex is no worse than virtually any other PL ground for transport. Your 20/30/40 mins waiting for a train to Brighton or Lewes (or a P&R bus) will be replicated walking to a tube station then queuing in London, sitting in your car waiting to exit a car park at Leicester/Villa/Wolves, waiting for a tram in Manchester etc etc.

Whilst I agree with my two learned friends @dazzer6666 and @jackalbion - you come across as being so ultra-negative on all aspects of your relationship with the Albion, to the point I wonder why you continue to attend, I think you do have a valid point here: it feels like it would be useful for the club to know how many people simply can not attend if the trains are not running due to strikes/engineering works/whatever.
As much as people get annoyed about there being no trains to games, but every single time there’s been engineering works through Falmer on a matchday they’ve been pulled or game moved, both NR and the club are pretty accommodating when this has happened. They could have just left the Palace game on the Thursday but they didn’t.
Fair point, those who can’t drive/get a lift/taxi and/or walk for more than 30 mins need an option.
