Soccer is, indeed, a word that originated in the UK and was pretty widely used after the Second World War - an Albion director (Alec Whitcher) wrote a number of books in the mid-to-late forties and two of them included the word in the title:-

Hope you enjoyed the game.

Having come all that way, at least you got to see some goals.

Fantastic that your coming, how many of you? Are you “Born in the USA” or ex Pats? If you are planning to start early do a pub crawl round the Laine’s/Lanes area of the city, planning to hit the Central Station area about 4pm where all the pubs will start to fill up. Follow the crowds to the station at around 7 for a free train ride to the stadium. Weather forecast for the area during the day is dry and overcast 54f with evening temps expected to drop to 46f so wrap up.

WTF? :rant::angry::rant:

Hope you enjoyed the game. Comments about what you did during the day, pre match, during the match and post match would help us pass on to others in the future.
