The term "match day experience " speaks volumes about the lack of passion and atmosphere at football grounds in the present day , it conjures up images of American franchise sports.to me.

WSL Pie & Pint kiosk now doesn't serve Harveys despite having undergone a summer makeover that plastered the Harveys logo all over the insde of the kiosk. Makes no sense and just added to the queues at the main counters as punter after punter left the kiosk empty handed.

Dressing up the mundane and banal is the way the world has gone though; it's not just football: airport experience, shopping experience, dining experience, match day experience. What the ****? And what happened to just, well, doing stuff? In the main I don't need an experience if I fly somewhere, or go to Churchill Square....I just want get somewhere or buy something or just watch a game.

Felt a bit sorry for the disabled fans, they was even a steward trying to escort a group of people through the crowd down the ramp to the station, until he came to some individuals who had words with him and refused to budge to let them through.

Those in wheelchairs usually roll right through you followed by abuse that you don't get out of their way quick enough at least that is my usual experience while queuing on the bridge before getting on the slope. One old women is particularly impatient

50% of the workforce are still on holiday. Uni back in October.

Doesn't this happen every season?

Then let's have half prices until the Albion can get their f UCKING house in order. Might incentivise them. Truly shocking service in the North, Barber or Tony needs to get down and try working behind a counter for a match to see the incompetence. Could be a new series: the secret billionaire. Let's face it, none of the staff would recognise em...

Yes what happened?
Been at a wedding all day, out of signal range, just got home and seen the score, might as well not bothered.
FFS we should be beating these backwater cretins, an uphill slog ensues I think now.
Oh well, been there, done that and worn the t shirt :( :)

Dunno, don't care. It's been better, then gets worse, then better again, ever since I can remember. The stewards or should I call them nightclub bouncers at Withdean, were the worst I've come across. But the idiotic stewarding I witnessed this afternoon was up with that. I hate jobsworth, self important, sargent major, idiotic, stewarding. We are paying to sit in the ground and support our team, we spend money, a lot in most cases. We don't deserve to be told by these minimum wage thicko's to 'step back behind the line, be careful waving that flag', talk directly to my 7 year old as if I don't exist and tell her off. I let rip at him, but he was that thick, he didn't even know why I was upset. Today I can honestly say I wish I had never gone to watch the game. It was just annoying and disappointing all round. It was very bad at times last season but the success on the pitch masked it. Today it didn't. If the Matchday experience doesn't improve I'll be leaving as a STH. And yes...I'm drafting my email to Paul Barber. I expect a cap in hand official inhuman response as always.

You should care ,my mate was dragged out of the ground and bullied by people that in normall day to day life wouldn't act in that manor ,footballs in the hands of pantomime artists
